Senior Lane Dilly of the Ottertail Central football team is the Olson Oil Company Athlete of the Week. The Bulldogs won the Section 4 9-Player championship on Thursday at the Fargodome, beating Border West, 34-12 to improve their season record to 10-0 and qualify for the Class A State quarterfinals.
Dilly carried the football 42 times for 204 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Bulldogs finished with 312 rushing yards on the day. He also had 2 receptions for 31 yards.
Dilly scored the first TD of the day on a 5 yard run, added a two-point run and scored on a 2 yard run as OTC built a 22-6 halftime advantage. He then scored on runs of 5 yards and 2 yards in the second half.
