Hornets Shoot 58% in Win Over Sebeka

Henning made 58% (41-70) of their field goal attempts on Saturday night as they posted a 104-34 Park Region Conference boys’ basketball victory over Sebeka.  The Hornets held the Trojans to just 8 second half points and Sebeka shot just 29% (12-41) on the night.

“We took care of business tonight and were fortunate to get all 15 guys into the game,” said Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “Our team shared the ball and knocked down some shots. We’re looking forward to two more PRC games next week.” 

Tyson Misegades (29 points, 11/16 FG, 3 assists), Mason Hammer (21 points, 9/13 FG, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 5 steals), Carter Dilly (14 points, 5/8 FG, 5 rebounds, 3 steals), Kale Misegades (12 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals) and Lane Dilly (12 points, 6/8 FG, 7 rebounds) all scored in double digits for Henning.

Jasper Hosey scored 12 points and Christian Berg added 8 to lead Sebeka.  The Trojans were hurt by 28 turnovers in the game.

Henning (17-1) will host Wadena-Deer Creek on Tuesday and New York Mills on Friday.

Sebeka will host Bertha-Hewitt on Tuesday and will play at Menahga on Friday.
