Henning Boys Move to 16-1 with 80-40 Win Over LPGE

The Henning Hornets double-up Long Prairie-Grey Eagle on Monday night, recording an 80-40 victory, shooting 47% (31-65) in the game and hitting 46% (14-30) of their 3’s.  LPGE shot 40% (13-32), while struggling to take care of the ball as Henning forced 18 turnovers.

Henning was led by 32 points from Kale Misegades on 12-of-18 shooting.  He also had 6 assists, 8 rebounds and 4 steals.  Tyson Misegades contributed 14 points, 4 assists and 2 steals.  Mason Hammer had 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, while Lane Dilly finished with 10 points, making 4-of-5 from the floor.  He also had 11 rebounds to register a double-double.

“We gave up the first two baskets of the game in transition and then scored the next 23 points to open up a 23-4 margin,” said Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades.  “We battled some foul trouble and a huge discrepancy at the free throw line.  We were whistled for 19 fouls in the game, compared to only five for LPGE.”

Henning (16-1) is at Sebeka on Saturday for their next game.  The Hornets are undefeated in eight Park Region Conference games this season.
