Brothers Tyson Misegades (25) and Kale Misegades (20) combined for 45 points on 17-of-32 shooting, including 7-of-14 from 3-point range, to lead Henning to a 75-40 victory over Menahga on Tuesday night. Kale also dished out a team high 6 assists and 6 steals.
“Solid win on the road to start our second time through conference teams,” noted Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “Things were a bit sloppy, but we battled through and got the job done.”
Lane Dilly (11 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists) and Mason Hammer (10 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists) were also in double figures for the Hornets who made 40% (26-65) of their field goal attempts.
Menahga was led by 15 points and 13 rebounds from Bodie Berttunen.
“It was nice to see our JV and C-squad both continue to play well also,” added Coach Misegades. “Our JV team made 13 three’s tonight led by Noah Umland and Logan Kostelecky.”
Henning (14-1) will host Pillager on Friday night, while Menahga (4-12) travels to play Bertha-Hewitt.
