On Tuesday night Brandon-Evansville hosted a good Henning team in a volleyball match which was won in 3 sets by the Hornets, 25-17, 25-18, 25-20.

“We felt if we played clean we could compete and push them,” commented Head Coach Kelly Olson of the Chargers.  “We needed to be focused and not replay past mistakes.  For the most part we did that but at critical times we had mental lapses, and in the end that cost us the chance to play our best.  The girls played hard and the bench was ready when their time came, but it just wasn't enough.”

Brandon-Evansville was led by Sydney Schaefer (11/11 serving, 3 block assists), Kylee Dingwall (10 kills), Taylor Suchy (12 digs).

Olson added, “We continue to improve as the season progresses, but we need to push ourselves a little bit more and speed up the process if we are going to be ready for playoffs that will be happening before we know it.  Proud of the effort of all the players, now we need to start to match the execution with that effort.”

Brandon-Evansville will travel to Battle Lake on Thursday for a Little Eight Conference match.
