Hammer and Bladow Combine for 221 Yards and 5 TD's as OTC Routs Underwood 50-6

Bricker Bladow ran for 135 yards on just 6 carries and found the end zone 3 times as the Ottertail Central Bulldogs remained undefeated with a 50-6 victory over Underwood on Friday night on the Rockets home field.  OTC compiled a total of 380 yards (234 rushing, 146 passing).

 

Mason Hammer got the Bulldogs on the board at 9:47 of the first quarter with a 47 yard touchdown run.  Bladow scored the two-point conversion for an 8-0 lead.  Jack Mekalson then connected with Mason Dalluge from 38 yards out for a 14-0 OTC lead.

In the second quarter, Bladow scored on a 79 yard run and Mekalson delivered the two-point conversion pass to Dalluge, increasing the Bulldogs lead to 22-0 with 6:56 left in the half.  Hammer ran the ball in from the 3 yard line and a pass from Lane Dilly to Bradyn Roisum put the lead at 30-0 at halftime.

Bladow scored on runs of 2 yards and 33 yards in the third quarter with Hammer converting on a two-point run after the first TD.  The Bulldogs led 44-0 after three quarters.

Underwood got on the scoreboard with 2:54 remaining in the game when Drew Evavold hooked up with Owen Harig on a 17-yard touchdown pass.  The Bulldogs returned the ensuing kickoff 94 yards for the final touchdown of the night, giving OTC a 50-6 win.

Mekalson completed 7-of-9 passes for 146 yards and one TD.  Hammer ran for 86 yards on 9 carries and Owen Buehler was the leading receiver for the Bulldogs with 4 catches for 54 yards.  Dalluge caught two passes for 47 yards and a touchdown.  Defensive leaders were Dilly (7 solo tackles), Drew Johnson (5.5 tackles), Hammer (2 interceptions) and Tommy Ehlert (1 sack)

Underwood was led by Harig (1 reception, 17 yards, TD) and Collin Lukken (10 attempts, 70 yards).  Harig led the defense with 4 solo tackles.
