Ottertail Central traveled to Pillager and came home with their first victory on Thursday afternoon, beating the Huskies 22-6.  OTC got on the board first in the second quarter when Drew Durbin scored on a 2 yard run.  Following the touchdown Bricker Bladow plunged in for the 2 point conversion.  At halftime the Bulldogs led 8-0.

In the third quarter OTC scored two times.  First it was Bricker Bladow scoring from 19 yards out with a big block from Cian Buehler to spring him.  Bladow also punched in the 2 point conversion.  The next score came when Tanner Arndt got loose around the end for a 21 yard run with great blocks from Kayne Cameron and Brady VanErp.  The 2 point conversion pass failed.  That made the score 22-0 after 2 quarters.

In the fourth OTC put together a couple of decent drives but did not score.  With less than 2 minutes remaining in the game Pillager got on the board to make the final score OTC 22, Pillager 6.

The Bulldogs rushed the ball for 193 yards and threw for 58.  Tanner Arndt rushed for 66, Bricker Bladow 58, and Drew Durbin 54.  Mason Hammer was the leading receiver with a 39 yard grab from Arndt.

Defensively, OTC was led by Bricker Bladow who was in on 16 tackles, and Cian Buehler who was in on 14.  Bladow, Arndt, and VanErp all had interceptions in the game.

OTC now goes to 1-2 and will travel to Crookston on Friday for a 6:00pm game.
