The Henning boys’ basketball team fell behind at halftime 35-28 to Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal, however, the Hornets put together a solid second half on the way to a 60-51 victory over the Titans in Henning.

Isaac Fisher scored a game high 25 points and was joined in double digits by Parker Fraki and Blake Wallevand with 11 and 10 points, respectively.  Henning hit 9 3-point field goals in the contest.

“We struggled to get stops on D and find any rhythm on O in the first half against their zone,” stated Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades.  “We came out much more aggressive in the second half. We were able to get out in transition a bit.  Our JV also got a very exciting win tonight in front of a packed house.  We have a huge test against Ada-Borup West tomorrow night at Perham.”

Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal was led by 18 points from Broden Lien and 11 points from Parker Lien.

The Hornets improved to 8-1 with the win.
